Blogging Project

What did you like about it? What didn't you like about it?

Well I like the idea of blogging. It is really good idea. Classmate can communicate via blogging and they can learn much about their classmates. However, this blogging thing isn’t really my thing because I don’t like to right something on the internet.

What did you learn from participating in this project?

I participated this project because I had to do in order to get marks so it is not easy to learn something from you don’t like. However, at least I learned how to post on the blog.

Should marks be given to this project?

Although I didn’t like this project, yes marks should be given. I think, this project can motivate people and it is also easy five points for people who pay enough attention to the project and students can learn lots of things by blogging

Online Games

Q1) Teenage online players have a number of serious social problems. When teenagers start to play video games, they stuck into game and they just want to play more and more so they spent more time in the game than they spent at school. As teens play more and more video games, they isolate themselves from social life and even sometimes they try to imitate what they do in the game and they frequently cause a trouble.

Free Blogging: Need little help here

We are in the last week and we almost finish the course and I hope we will all get the certificate. Most of you will start university as same as I. my condition is little different than yours and i need your opinion at that point;

I missed the deadline for winter section because some things didn't go as I planned. anyway I wont start university at january. 

So i thought  I can go to collage for one semester than join the university at september. now the problem is here; i went to Lasalle and Dawson collage for get information and register one of them but both collages requires at least two semester. 

I dont really know what should I do and I thought that you guys can maybe help me.

Should I go to the collage for two semesters or wait until september for university?

Research Paper

1.   How do you feel about your paper? Explain.

Beginning of the paper I was feeling nervous because I taught it was going to be difficult to write 10-12 pages paper. However after I started reading articles and collecting information about football hooliganism it became easy to write paper. I think I did a good job and also it was a good experience for university

2. If you had a chance to start over, what would you do differently?

Actually, if I start over I wouldn’t change too much things. I would fallow same way but I would mention more about fantasy football hooliganism

        

3. What are some skills you improved in while doing the paper? Explain.

I improved my writing and reading skills but besides language skills and I think most important thing, I learned how to make research, how to write long paper. I believe these skills are going to help me at university a lot.

Population

        

1. My grandparents have 9 children totally. My father’s family have 6 children (5 boys and a girl) and from my mother’s family have 3 children (2 boys and a girl). My Family have 3 children my twin and older brother (poor mother she said “it was difficult to raise 3 boys). I’ve never thought about how many children I will have. Its maybe because of I don’t have any plan for marriage.

2. Turkey’s population is approximately 75 million. In my opinion population growth supposed to decrease quality of life. However, government say that we have better quality of life than previous years so it seems like population don’t have any negative impact on quality of life.

 3. Millions of people move from rural areas to the cities every year in Turkey especially to Istanbul. From economical perspective, Istanbul is the most powerful city in Turkey and Istanbul’s population is over 17 million (22% of the total population) and researchers say Istanbul’s population will reach 30 million within 10 years so it will be impossible to live in Istanbul. Even now we have lots of problems. Such as; traffic jams (biggest problem), living conditions (too expensive when compare with other cities in Turkey), less space and more pollution 

De Niro's Game

 

    De Niro’s Game, it was a quite interesting book which is written by Rawi Hage This book is about daily war life so I sometimes bored while I was reading book. However I read this book different than I read before. While I was reading De Niro’s Game, I thought about how author use the language, how he impressed the emotion of daily war life as much as I can. I think it helped me to understand the book more efficiently and it gave me an idea about how I can make an analysis about books/. Also this book project improved my critical thinking skills and I had fun during the book project.

Happiness

  

  

     Happiness, it’s difficult to explain with one world but basically happiness is satisfaction for me. If somebody asks “what does happiness mean to people, I’m sure everyone will give different answer. People can be happy when they get a good job, married, or child. Even they can be happy when they see their friends which they didn’t see for a long time. We always have to look for happiness because it’s the one of the primary element which gives as a pleasure for life. Also according to some scientists’ studies people who have a feeling of pleasure, live longer and look younger. Therefore, you shouldn’t give up when you failed. You have to work harder and harder. I’m sure you will reach your goals when you try harder and at the end you will be happy.
